Interim Director of Business Development
Samantha “Sam” Deleo is the Interim Director of Business Development for Royal Life Centers’ addiction treatment centers in Washington State. In her current role, Sam Deleo oversees all aspects of business development from our rehab location in Spokane, WA. This includes creating partnerships with insurance providers, developing marketing strategies to reach those struggling with addiction, and expanding our network of referrals from healthcare professionals.
Sam Deleo is grateful to be in the business of recovery. When she switched from clinical work to business development, she worried about the competition and territoriality. Instead, all she’s seen since joining Royal Life Centers team is hardworking humans passionate about recovery, willing to do what it takes to get people the help they need regardless of the bottom line. She deeply appreciates the countless business partners both near and far willing to help her navigate this space.
Over 5 years ago, Sam first walked into Royal Life Centers feeling very scared and broken. She didn’t recognize herself or what her life had become. Now, she is proud to say that she put the pieces back together one by one with the help of our staff and recovery community. Her experience with recovery has taught her that forgiveness is a funny thing, saying, “It’s the last thing you want to do when you’ve been hurt, the last thing you feel you deserve when you’ve hurt others, but it’s truly the key to moving forward.” She is so grateful for all that she’s learned and gained in half a decade, but is most grateful for the boundless love of her tribe that fuels everything she does. Especially helping others embark on the very same journey.
