Kimberly Sparks, BA, SUDP, is the Clinical Director for Royal Life Centers at Puget Sound

Kimberly Sparks is a dedicated and experienced professional in the behavioral health field. Her wealth of knowledge aids her passion for helping individuals on their journey to recovery. With a career spanning nearly two decades, Kim has held various key positions and played pivotal roles in shaping the direction and success of behavioral health programs.

 

Her current position is Clinical Director of Royal Life Centers at Puget Sound in Sumner, WA. In this capacity, Kim oversees a clinical team that includes case managers and facilitators. Her responsibilities include providing supervision, training, and daily support to the team, as well as assisting with therapeutic and crisis interventions.

 

Kim’s journey in the behavioral health field began in 2006 when they started as a Behavioral Health Tech. Since then, Kim has continually advanced her career and education, achieving a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Evergreen State College in 2013 and an Associate of Arts from Tacoma Community College in 2009. Before joining Royal Life Centers, Kim spent more than a decade as a treatment center program and clinical director where she supervised the daily operations of outpatient services and worked closely with the patient coordinator to facilitate inpatient capacity.

 

Kim’s passion for recovery and helping individuals make healthy choices in their journey to sobriety is the driving force behind her dedication to the behavioral health field. She finds reward in making a difference in someone’s life, empowering them to find recovery and escape the clutches of addiction.

 

Outside of their professional commitments, Kim enjoys spending time with family, actively engaging in the recovery community, and enjoying the beauty of nature.
