Executive Director
Rick Rorie is the Executive Director for our Washington facilities in Spokane and Mead, ensuring our quality addiction treatment services. In doing so, Rick oversees both our inpatient detox and residential program and our 12-week aftercare program. Starting with us as one of our esteemed therapists, Rick has worked in the field of chemical dependency since 2008. His interest in the field stems from his own personal battle with addiction. He is fueled by ” the need to give back.” Rick does so by offering hope and direction to those who are recovering from addiction.
Rick has worked with clients from all walks of life. In fact, his compassionate care helps those of different ethnicities and backgrounds each day. Throughout his career, he also assisted gang affiliates, children, and adolescents who struggled with addiction. Having worked within a variety of treatment modalities, Rick believes the best way to address addiction is head-on. The mantra that he has adopted is ” the healing is in the storm”. There is nothing equivalent to helping someone who suffered for so long achieve freedom from the bondage of addiction.
Rick has worked tirelessly, ensuring the quality standards at Cascade Heights continued seamlessly throughout the global pandemic. His team continues to praise his unending devotion and inspiring leadership in spite of the health crisis and ever-changing regulations.
