Accredited By
We are nationally recognized as a distinguished treatment provider by the most prestigious accrediting bodies.
We believe that overcoming past and present adversity serves as an asset that allows for self-growth and the changing of behaviors.
We aim to shift guests’ perspective from seeing addiction as a life sentence to seeing recovery as an inquisitive, unique and enthralling experience to find their higher selves. So, once a passion is sparked and a flame is ignited, the perceived “need” for drugs and alcohol diminishes and is replaced with a craving to experience life with clarity. Guests gain the self-love and self-respect to finally want a better way of life because they realize they deserve to grow and flourish in the world. “Because We Care,” not only do we teach individuals how to reclaim their lives, we empower them to re-integrate the forgotten parts of self in order to attain self-reliance.
Testimonials
One of the things I have enjoyed the most during my stay at RLC is the accommodations and the staff who tends to them. It is not just the facilitators who embody the "Because We Care" motto, it is everyone, the housing & transportation ....medical and maintenance team all live and breathe this just as much as the group leaders and therapists do. The houses themselves, are clean and in safe neighborhoods (close to Downtown); and are equipped with high speed WiFi and Flat Screen Televisions in all the rooms...Thank You Royal Life Centers, you and your “Because We Care” approach saved my life."

Our note to you :
We are driven completely by our passion for helping the next person. It is our mission to offer our help to the individual who is struggling, just like we once were. We want you to know that no matter how society labels you, no matter how you've been treated, no matter how the world sees you, and no matter how you see yourself, the only thing that we see is your potential.
At some point along the way, you wanted to feel better and you chose the fastest way to get there. Over time, it became your only way to get that relief. The issue is that the shortcut to feeling better is also the least reliable and the shortest-lasting. It also causes problems in your relationships, family, work, school, health, and it's incredibly expensive, dangerous, and chronic.
We are here to help you reclaim your life and find that strength that you've always had. We won't judge you. We know that you want your life to be different, and if you're reading this right now— you've already taken the first step towards that freedom. There is nothing more affirming than waking up and not needing a substance to get through that day. You'll quickly learn how to shift that dependence from a substance to depending on yourself, your supports, your community. And pretty soon after, you'll find gratitude for the version of you that knew you needed this change, no matter how much you told yourself you didn't want it at first. We do this because we can see your potential before you are able to. We know it's scary and we know it won't be easy, but we promise it will be worth it.
We've got you, and we know you've got this. Because We Care.

Frequently Asked Questions
General Questions about Inpatient Treatment Programs
You could call today and get set up later in the day. You may get scheduled later in the week, this all depends on availability as we maintain a small caseload for our clinicians and doctors. This way, each guest is able to receive personalized care and attention during their treatment.
The easiest way to find out our availability is by calling our admissions department.
You cannot keep your cellphone or other devices on you during our inpatient treatment at Royal Life Centers. You will be allowed to make calls to family and friends, with your therapist’s permission, during our inpatient programs.
During our outpatient programs, you are allowed to have your cellphone and any other devices. We do ask that you keep all devices off and away during your therapy sessions.
We are located in Prescott, Arizona.
If this is far from you, we will help to arrange for transportation to our facility, and can have a staff member pick you up at the train station or airport.
We also have a sister facility located in Phoenix, Arizona.
For our inpatient programs, you are not allowed to drive yourself to our facility. We will send a driver to you, who will transport you to our facility. If you are flying into Arizona for treatment, a driver will meet you at the airport and bring you to our facility. These coordination services are complimentary.
We do integrate our curriculum with 12-step support groups like Alcoholic’s Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and 12-step themes, however we offer and support multiple programs of recovery. We use an abstinence-based, holistic model of addiction treatment.
Yes, we offer telehealth for all of our programs after detox. Our goal in launching telehealth was to create greater accessibility to our programs and treatment in general.
Our medical detox and IOP/OP programs are co-ed.

If you wanted to do our full continuum of care, you would be looking at a length of about 4-5 months total.
You can remain in our outpatient treatment program for as long as it takes for you to feel solid in your recovery, and ready to progress forward into complete independence.
Your case manager will also provide a comprehensive aftercare plan, and coordinate next steps for you. For example, if you feel like you need accountability to stay sober long-term, but no longer need therapy, we can help you interview for and transition into an Oxford house.
We want to make sure our guests feel confident in their recovery, and not comfortable in complacency. Being able to stay sober when no one’s checking or watching is what we hope for when you transition into independence— we will offer up our sober living environment for as long as you need, unless you are regressing instead of progressing. Whatever your needs may be, we will work with you to make sure you are given all of the tools and guidance to be successful in sobriety.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Questions
Yes, you can. We are proud to offer this option within telehealth, as it creates opportunity for more people to get help despite a busy schedule, ongoing employment, etc.
You will collaborate with our medical and clinical team to discuss MAT options. We do not withhold this option from our guests unless it poses a risk to his or her health or ultimate success in recovery.
Whatever the circumstance, we do have treatment options for you. If you have a particularly difficult case, we will work with you to identify your needs and find a solution— even if you don’t attend treatment with us, we are more than happy to help you find a place that provides what will work for you.
Keep in mind that medications used for MAT are FDA-approved only for the treatment of opioid use disorder and alcohol use disorder currently.
MAT at our treatment center is highly effective in treating addictions to:
- alcohol
- heroin
- fentanyl
- other synthetic opioids
- prescription pain medications (Percocet, Percodan, Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, etc.)
- methadone
