Telehealth Treatment
Why it's important to us to offer virtual treatment options
Increased accessibility to treatment
Many people don't have the ability to attend a traditional, in-person rehab program because they don't have access, whether it be geographically, financially, or otherwise.
Flexibility in treatment via telehealth
Due to the nature of telehealth treatment, programming allows for individuals to customize the structure of their treatment and ongoing therapy sessions.
You don't have to arrange for your absence
Many people have obligations like work, raising children, taking care of the household, caring for a pet. These are all factors they must arrange to be taken care of if they leave home to attend treatment.
Access to the best care, from your safe space
Telehealth doesn't disrupt your life, it allows for you to continue living whilst attending treatment. Each day will be strengthened by the clinical work you do with your therapist.
We offer therapy sessions and medical appointments from the comfort of your own home. Your recovery can happen in a safe, private space with 24/7 access to clinical and medical professionals who will help you ease into this first step into recovery.
For your convenience and ultimate success in recovery, we now offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) through our telehealth programming. Our doctor will prescribe FDA-approved medication to treat your withdrawal symptoms and cravings for a comfortable experience stepping out of addiction and into a life free from the shackles of depending on a substance.
With over a decade of experience in helping others better their lives, we will help you recover one step at a time.

Programs
We offer all of our programs in a telehealth format. We are proud to make our top-rated, tried and true programs available to more people who need help getting sober.
Medical Detox
A medically-assisted detox program, that ranges in length from 4 to 8 days, depending on your withdrawal symptoms. Therapy is included during detox.
Telehealth Available
Inpatient
Our residential inpatient program ranges from 14 to 30 days. This is our most therapeutically-structured and intensive program, with 5 hours of therapy/day.
Telehealth Available
PHP
PHP or partial-hospitalization program is just a clinical way of describing treatment that has structured therapy with a medical component to monitor and manage symptoms. PHP is the first of three phases in our 12 week step-down program.
Our 12 week program follows a long-term care approach that improves treatment outcomes significantly.
Telehealth Available
IOP/OP
We offer both intensive outpatient and outpatient programs. Intensive outpatient (IOP) constitutes the last two phases of our 12-week program. Our outpatient program can be joined at any time, and is the least restrictive, most flexible treatment option. Designed for those who are currently working or needed in their household and already have support systems in place.
Telehealth Available
Therapy
We employ master's-level clinicians to design your treatment plan and guide you through the clinical work to uncover the root causes of your substance abuse.
Some of the therapies we use to achieve this include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Holistic Therapies (yoga, breathwork, meditation).
We also offer MAT within our telehealth programming.
MAT Medications we utilize at Royal Life Centers
We use only FDA-approved medications for medication-assisted treatment. MAT at Royal is designed to support an MAT approach for individuals with an opioid use disorder or alcohol use disorder. These medications are approved to treat only these two substance use disorders, currently.
For Opioid Use Disorder (OUD)
For Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) + Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD)
For Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD)
Suboxone
A buprenorphine-based medication with naloxone (opioid antagonist) added to block the effects of opioids. It attaches to the opioid receptor in the brain and blocks it.
Subutex
A derivative of Suboxone without the addition of Naloxone. Subutex is a buprenorphine-based, partial agonist used for those who have an allergy to Naloxone.
Naltrexone
An opioid antagonist, which means it blocks the opioid receptor in the brain. Most people recognize naltrexone by the brand name Vivitrol©
Campral
An oral medication for the treatment of AUD. Campral (generic Acamprosate) works by reducing cravings by making the behavior of drinking alcohol unappealing.
Specialty Programs
At Royal Life Centers, we customize your therapy sessions and our therapeutic offerings to meet your individual needs. Not everyone can recover in the same way, which is why our approach has always been person-centered. You can have programming from one, some, or all of our specialty programs because your treatment plan is completely individualized.
Valor Program
For military veterans or active duty military personnel.
Native Program
For tribal members who benefit from building a foundation for recovery upon cultural values and beliefs.
Trauma Program
For those with a physical, sexual, verbal, or emotional trauma history.
GED Program
For those want to finish their education, we will pay for you to obtain your GED.

We offer a long-term treatment program that is 12 weeks in length. This long-term option is a step-down program that spans our partial-hositalization program and two phases of intensive outpatient treatment. If you wanted to do our full continuum of care, you would be looking at a length of about 4-5 months total.
Our full continuum of care (detox, residential, and the 12-week program) is a little more than 3 months in length, however, if you wanted to continue care with us on an outpatient level, we also offer outpatient programming through telehealth, or in-person. Our sober living residences are close to our clinical building, and offer a range of amenities alongside a built-in full-time sober living staff and transportation services to and from 12-step meetings, the grocery store, and even outside doctor/dental appointments.

Our therapies include, but are not limited to: rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), motivational enhancement therapy, accelerated resolution therapy (ART), music therapy, equine therapy (therapy with horses), experiential therapy, biofeedback, etc.
We do integrate our curriculum with 12-step support groups like Alcoholic’s Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and 12-step themes, however we offer and support multiple programs of recovery. We use an abstinence-based, holistic model of addiction treatment.

Our admissions department is open 24/7.
We believe that overcoming past and present adversity serves as an asset that allows for self-growth and the changing of behaviors.
We aim to shift guests’ perspective from seeing addiction as a life sentence to seeing recovery as an inquisitive, unique and enthralling experience to find their higher selves. So, once a passion is sparked and a flame is ignited, the perceived “need” for drugs and alcohol diminishes and is replaced with a craving to experience life with clarity. Guests gain the self-love and self-respect to finally want a better way of life because they realize they deserve to grow and flourish in the world. “Because We Care,” not only do we teach individuals how to reclaim their lives, we empower them to re-integrate the forgotten parts of self in order to attain self-reliance.

Our Admissions Process
When you are asking for help, it’s important to streamline the process as much as possible to get you help right away. Since we’ve been helping people for over a decade, we have made our admissions process simple and quick.
Here is how the admissions process works.
1.
Contact us
You can call us directly, send an email to admissions, fill out an insurance verification form, or submit a request for us to contact you.
2.
Check your health insurance coverage
If you plan to use your health insurance to cover treatment, we will need to gather your insurance information. Health insurance is not required, so if you don’t have insurance we can discuss payment options for the treatment program(s) you have decided on.
3.
Do a 5-10 minute pre-assessment
This pre-assessment takes place over the phone and takes 5-10 minutes with the individual looking to enter our treatment program.
4.
Pick a day/time
Schedule a date and time you would like to come into the facility to formally admit.
5.
Get started
Come to the facility or join your first telehealth session at the time you scheduled! Let’s do this. If we have arranged your flight from out-of-state, we will keep tabs on your flight and have a driver pick you up from the airport when you arrive.
