Jeff Grant, SUDP

Clinical Director

Jeff Grant is our clinical director for Royal Life Centers’ aftercare and outpatient facility in Lacey, Washington. Since early 2022, Jeff embodies our mission by providing compassionate, evidence-based care to guests in our aftercare program.

In 2017, Jeff Grant began working in the behavioral health field in an entry-level treatment attendant position with Northwest Resources. After receiving the encouragement of fellow clinical staff, he quickly moved into a counseling role. He then spent the next 4 years working as a counselor in outpatient and residential treatment levels of care. After, Jeff moved to American Behavioral Health System and worked as a program manager in their Secure Withdrawal Management program. In his role, Jeff oversaw the clinical, medical, and support teams to ensure client care was prioritized.

With a background in Human Services, Jeff went on to receive his Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) certification. In becoming a SUDP, he was able to deepen his understanding of substance abuse and provide specialized care to individuals in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.

Currently, Jeff Grant oversees the clinical program, providing guidance to counselors and ensuring a positive and educational treatment experience for Royal Life Center’s guests. Helping guests in PHP, IOP, and OP connect the dots while transitioning into their new sober lives is what keeps him motivated to come to work every day. For this reason, Jeff is grateful for the ability to work with clients and empower them to make life-changing decisions for themselves.

In his spare time, Jeff coaches a softball team for the clean and sober softball association (CSSA). Being born and raised in Washington, he is also a huge Mariners, Seahawks, and Washington Huskies football fan.
