Our Alcohol & Drug Rehab Programs
Based in our thriving recovery communities on the outskirts of Mt. Rainier and the Cascade Mountain Range, and surrounded by national parks, our private treatment centers are extremely confidential and allow you to find serenity and clarity while we help you navigate early recovery.
Our medical detox program is a 4 or 8 day program, depending on factors that contribute to your customized detox protocol. Upon intake, you will meet with our medical team and discuss your drinking/usage history, medical history, frequency/volume of use, etc. in order to provide all of the details necessary in crafting a safe, effective plan to detox you from whichever substances you would like to recover from.
We specialize in detoxing individuals with substance use disorder(s) and alcohol use disorder. We are also a dual diagnosis treatment center, so we will treat any co-occurring mental health disorder(s) simultaneously.
Our residential inpatient program is an accelerated, intensely-therapeutic program based on our holistic treatment model. During inpatient treatment, guests attend psychotherapy through out the day, on both an individual and group-level. Our goal during inpatient treatment at Royal is to uncover the root cause(s) of your substance abuse, so that we are treating the right thing. Substance abuse by nature is a form of self-medicating and self-soothing. We do not shame you or make you feel guilty about your alcohol or drug use, instead, we validate the reasons why you chose to and focus on treating those reasons to give you freedom and the tools to choose a different method of coping moving forward.
Drug and alcohol treatment at Royal Life Centers means top clinical care, evidence-based methods of treatment, overwhelming support, care and comfort.
We offer a unique step-down program that transitions guests through three levels of care (PHP, IOP Phase 1, and IOP Phase 2) in 12 weeks.
PHP
PHP or partial-hospitalization program is the first 4 week portion of our 12-week outpatient programming. PHP is the perfect step in-between residential inpatient treatment and less restrictive levels of care. You will live in our sober living residences, which are either apartments or single-family homes within a short distance from our clinical building. We provide transportation to and from your therapy sessions at our clinical building, 12 step meetings, the grocery store, and any outside dental/medical appts. You can also bring your car to our campus so that you can transport yourself and have the ability to explore during your free time.
IOP
IOP or intensive outpatient program accounts for the next 8 weeks in the transition away from full-time clinical care. During intensive outpatient treatment, guests get more freedom and have less restrictions— however, accountability is still maintained well throughout the program to provide added support during stages of increased freedom.
Phase 1 of IOP – therapy sessions five days/week
Phase 2 of IOP – drops down to therapy sessions three days/week
During our 12 week program, your case manager will help you find employment, enroll in college courses or trade school, and provide other services to help you build structure into your life whilst attending treatment. You can choose to attend our IOP program from home, or you can choose to stay in our sober living residences.
During intensive outpatient treatment, guests get more freedom and have less restrictions. Our intensive outpatient program is highly flexible, with morning or evening clinical hours to accommodate your schedule. Most guests enrolled in IOP either work, receive help from our case managers to obtain part-time or full-time employment, or attend college. Our IOP program is designed to enrich your recovery.
You can choose to attend our IOP program from home, or you can choose to live in our sober living residences.
OP or outpatient treatment is the final phase of treatment at Royal. We recommend continuing care in some capacity after more intensive treatment programs because we have measured significantly more successful outcomes for individuals who complete a longer-term drug or alcohol treatment program. During this program, we focus on teaching life skills, transitioning back into society, building and using a sober support network, understanding signs of a relapse, relapse prevention, and learning to balance life and recovery.
During our outpatient program, you can choose to live in our sober living residences or attend treatment (intensive therapy sessions, case management and medical appointments, etc.) while living at home.
Our sober living residences are an option for guests in our 12 week program, IOP, or OP programs.
Depending on which facility you choose to attend, our sober living residences are either apartments or single-family homes within a short distance from our clinical building. If you reside in our sober living homes, we provide transportation to and from your therapy sessions at our clinical building, the grocery store, a wide range of 12-step meetings, planned therapeutic activities, and any outside dental/medical appts. You are also permitted to bring your car to our campus, so that you can transport yourself and have the ability to explore during your free time. All Royal facilities are within 10-15 minutes of many National Parks, hiking trails, charming towns and a wide variety of options for recreation. You will have parking available for your car at your house or apartment complex.
If you choose to live in our sober living residences, you are free to use the time between therapy sessions and planned activities to do whatever you want. Your free time is yours to spend, as long as you are adhering to the reasonable rules we set, are home in time for your curfew, and pass your drug screening tests with flying colors. Explore, meet new people, spend time in nature. You are encouraged to begin living life with clarity and excitement.

We are driven completely by our passion for helping the next person. It is our mission to offer our help to the individual who is struggling, just like we once were. We want you to know that no matter how society labels you, no matter how you've been treated, no matter how the world sees you, and no matter how you see yourself, the only thing that we see is your potential.
At some point along the way, you wanted to feel better and you chose the fastest way to get there. Over time, it became your only way to get that relief. The issue is that the shortcut to feeling better is also the least reliable and the shortest-lasting. It also causes problems in your relationships, family, work, school, health, and it's incredibly expensive, dangerous, and chronic.
We are here to help you reclaim your life and find that strength that you've always had. We won't judge you. We know that you want your life to be different, and if you're reading this right now— you've already taken the first step towards that freedom. There is nothing more affirming than waking up and not needing a substance to get through that day. You'll quickly learn how to shift that dependence from a substance to depending on yourself, your supports, your community. And pretty soon after, you'll find gratitude for the version of you that knew you needed this change, no matter how much you told yourself you didn't want it at first. We do this because we can see your potential before you are able to. We know it's scary and we know it won't be easy, but we promise it will be worth it.
We've got you, and we know you've got this. Because We Care.
Inpatient Rehabilitation and Treatment
Royal Life Centers has been a treatment provider for over a decade. Prior to treating our very first guest, we were founded on passion and compassion. We saw a great need for quality care in the treatment of alcoholism and addiction, and vowed to create a space where clinical and medical excellence met caring, and compassion. Almost fifteen years later, we operate eight facilities across the country and employ dozens of likeminded professionals who are dedicated to helping others through the process of recovery.
Our staff members are where we shine most. Royal Life Centers is made possible by experienced, master’s-level clinicians, doctors of addiction medicine, and certified/licensed support staff who truly care. Your best interest is always on our mind, and each guest is at the forefront of what we do and why. We are committed to your health, happiness, and success in recovery and in life.
Our treatment programs bring together intensive therapies, mental health management services, optional medication-assisted treatment (MAT) during every program, and holistic healing.
Often an overlooked factor of drug and alcohol treatment is the team of individuals chosen to care for you or your loved one during your stay. With licensed professionals and medical staff on the clock 24/7, we ensure you or your loved one’s safety during drug and alcohol treatment.
Most of our staff members are in recovery themselves, which makes all the difference during a time when vulnerability should be met with compassion and understanding. Your trust in us means everything.
“BECAUSE WE CARE.”
We have merged premier, leading facilities across the United States to provide our guests with unrivaled treatment at every level of care. Our Joint Commission, CARF and NAATP accreditations allow us to offer ethical, comprehensive, and quality-focused care led by experienced and dedicated providers.
Every facility at Royal Life Centers is based on a guest-centered, humanistic approach to recovery— meaning each and every guest that walks through our doors is an individual, void of all labels that have been placed upon them throughout their life experiences. In order for them to reach and exceed their goals, we must provide them with a safe space in which to express their genuine selves, free of judgment and labels. Acceptance of both their past and present is key for recovering individuals to grow, but our goal is for them to understand that the person they are is not defined by their past behaviors.
“BECAUSE WE CARE,” NOT ONLY DO WE TEACH GUESTS HOW TO RECLAIM THEIR LIVES, WE EMPOWER GUESTS TO RE-INTEGRATE THE FORGOTTEN PARTS OF SELF IN ORDER TO ATTAIN SELF-RELIANCE. AT ROYAL LIFE CENTERS, WE RECOGNIZE THE IMMEASURABLE VALUE OF HAVING A VOICE IN ONE’S OWN RECOVERY AND ENCOURAGE OUR GUESTS, FUTURE AND PRESENT, TO “SPEAK UP” FOR THEIR LIVES: HONOR THE POWER OF YOUR VOICE AND BEGIN YOUR JOURNEY WITH US TODAY!
Our medically-assisted detox program is held in high-regard by multiple nationally recognized accrediting bodies. Our excellence in detoxing the body from substances is upheld by our experienced doctors of addiction medicine, full-time nursing staff, and 24 hour medical monitoring system. We do provide medications to offset any symptoms of withdrawal, as for many substances these symptoms can be dangerous, life-threatening, and immensely uncomfortable. Your safety, comfort, overall health, and success in sobriety are our top priorities. Medications will be given to relieve discomfort and ease your transition into recovery.
For those who are detoxing from alcohol and benzodiazepines, we provide superior quality care to ensure your safety during this process. As these substances have the most dangerous and life-threatening withdrawal symptoms, we are most cautious and careful in crafting a medical protocol that will meet your needs proactively.
We're ready when you are.

No obligation, no cost. With over a decade of experience in helping others better their lives, we will help you build recovery into your life one step at a time.
We believe that overcoming past and present adversity serves as an asset that allows for self-growth and the changing of behaviors.
We aim to shift guests’ perspective from seeing addiction as a life sentence to seeing guests’ recovery as an inquisitive, unique and enthralling experience to find their higher selves. So, once a passion is sparked and a flame is ignited, the perceived “need” for drugs and alcohol diminishes and is replaced with a craving to experience life with clarity. Guests gain the self-love and self-respect to finally want a better way of life because guests realize they deserve to grow and flourish in the world. “Because We Care,” not only do we teach guests how to reclaim their lives, we empower guests to re-integrate the forgotten parts of self in order to attain self-reliance.

Our success is when our guests get the chance to see their life change in recovery.
This is Christine's story.
About Royal Life Centers,
With over a decade of experience in treating mild to severe substance use and co-occurring disorders, we have had the honor of helping thousands of individuals reclaim their life from addiction. We started out 15 years ago to offer outpatient treatment within a sober living environment to create a community for the people who just wanted to do the next right thing for their recovery. Soon after, we realized that most people looking to start their recovery had no idea how, resulting in multiple hospital visits, short and sporadic periods of sobriety, various attempts at sobriety with no resolve and ultimately unable to find healing for the root causes that continued to motivate their substance abuse.
The cycle of addiction prompted us to begin establishing safe, welcoming places that felt like home,— staffed with people who felt like family. We gained our place in the addiction treatment field by treating our guests how we would want clinicians and doctors to treat our own family members, modeling our message, "Because We Care." Soon enough, we saw our vision come to life, through the individuals who came to us for help. Motivated by the gratitude we felt by being able to make a difference in our guests' lives, we worked to establish enough facilities to provide a full continuum of care, offering treatment for addiction at all stages of the recovery process.
From our humble beginnings, we put our guests first. We still do. This is the primary thing that sets us apart from other treatment centers. We welcome you into our family, while prioritizng your safety, comfort, and success in recovery. We rely heavily on our accomplished staff members for their clinical excellence and medical expertise with addiction, and for some— their personal experience with addiction. From the very beginning, the moment you ask us for help, you will be welcomed into our community with kindness, respect, and dignity. We created a community of belonging, where anyone who is ready for change is able to get started and grow in the recovery process with other people doing the same. Through our programs, we provide you with the skills and tools you need to get and maintain sobriety, giving you everything you need to rebuild a happy, healthy, and meaningful life.
What to expect in this process
You can call us directly, send an email to admissions, fill out an insurance verification form, or submit a request for us to contact you.
If you plan to use your health insurance to cover treatment, we will need to gather your insurance information. Health insurance is not required, so if you don’t have insurance we can discuss payment options for the treatment program(s) you have decided on.
This pre-assessment takes place over the phone, and only takes 5-10 minutes. If you are seeking help for a loved one, we will be doing this pre-assessment with him or her.
Schedule a date and time you would like to come in.
All transportation to and from your stay is complementary. If we have arranged your flight from out-of-state, we will keep tabs on it and send a driver to pick you up from the airport. If you live in close proximity to our facility, we will send a driver to pick you up and take you to our facility. Alternatively, a loved one can bring you to our facility to check-in.
