Are you ready to get help for your substance abuse issues? Or do you know someone who is struggling from addiction and needs professional help? Then you’ve come to the right place to get the information you need.
One of the first considerations people make when deciding on where to get help, is how much treatment is going to cost. Addiction isn’t very kind to personal finances, and can often leave someone in financial ruins. When it comes time to get treatment, there may be little or no cash left. This is when having quality health insurance can potentially save your life. Almost all plans will include some form of mental health and substance abuse treatment, which means at minimum, some of your treatment costs will be covered. How much will depend on your plan and level of benefits.
HealthEZ Insurance Coverage
Typical treatment options that HealthEZ may cover include:
Medical Detox– Safely and comfortably removing drugs and the leftover toxins is the first step in most treatment plans. Physical wellness and stability is the main objective here, although, excellent programs will begin the emotional and psychological healing early on.
Residential Inpatient– This is what is most commonly thought of when “rehab” is mentioned. Running anywhere from two week to thirty days, guests live on-premises and attend groups and intensive therapy all day. 24-hour monitoring and care is provided to ensure guests physical and emotional well-being.
Partial Hospitalization Program– During PHP guests have access to many of the same resources as inpatient treatment, but return home after daily therapy. Group therapy continues to be a big part of treatment but, individual therapy, case management, and other therapies, push guests to grow.
Intensive Outpatient– IOP is another step down in intensity from PHP. Much of the same program is included in IOP, but the frequency of therapy continues to decrease. Guests in this level usually hold jobs, and/or attend school while receiving treatment.
Outpatient– Standard outpatient treatment usually consist of a few therapy sessions a week, but frequency is decided between the guest and their therapist. After graduation from IOP, some will continue their treatment with OP.
It’s recommended that someone with a substance use disorder work through each level of treatment in order for it to be most effective. However, each person is unique along with their personal circumstances.
