Royal Life Centers holds full licensure in all states in which we operate, and we are proud to be dually-accredited by two of the largest accrediting bodies in the United States, the Joint Commission and the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). In the area of treatment for substance use disorder, to be accredited means that a detox or rehabilitation facility has undergone lengthy evaluation of its programs— management, safety policies, treatment practices and protocols, daily schedules, therapy practices, guest living arrangements— to ensure it meets standards set and objectively evaluated by a third party organization to verify excellence in guest care.
The Joint Commission, the largest hospital- and medical facility-accrediting body in the U.S., is recognized across the country as a symbol of quality and commitment to performance, and accredits only health care facilities that offer the safest, highest quality, best-value health care in the nation. Learn more about the Joint Commission here.
CARF is the largest addiction facility-accrediting body in the U.S. and promotes quality, value, and optimal service outcomes through its accreditation process, and aims to enhance the lives of those served. The non-profit sets the industry benchmark for quality, and Royal Life Centers has attained the necessary standard of care. Learn more about CARF here.
Only 47% of detox facilities in the U.S. reported that they were accredited by CARF and/or the Joint Commission in the Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration’s 2016 National Survey of Substance Abuse Treatment Services. Our dual accreditation is something we work hard to maintain (accreditation is a continuous process, not a one-time certification awarded to qualifying facilities), so our guests can join the Royal Life Centers family with confidence that they will receive the best evidence-based addiction treatment and aftercare in the safest place.
At Royal Life Centers, our accreditation is extremely important to us because our priority is always our guests and their well-being. We consistently strive to provide the highest level of care and commitment to our guests and their families, and do so by staying on top of the latest developments in the area of treatment for substance use disorder, listening and responding to the needs of guests and staff, and maintaining top-notch facilities and investing in the finest resources.
