As a full-service drug and alcohol detox facility, Royal Life Centers treats dependence on alcohol, opiates, benzodiazepines, methamphetamines, and cocaine. Alcohol and substance use disorders are some of the most serious brain diseases, with over 15 million adults diagnosed with AUD as of 2015 (National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism) and nearly 20 million diagnosed with a SUD as of 2016 (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration). However, AUD and SUD are also some of the most highly treatable brain diseases.
Why Royal Life Centers?
At Royal Life Centers, our guests are always our top priority. Our Pacific Northwest and Arizona Prescott Valley locations offer:
Medication-assisted detox— Nurses in our detox facility monitor guests 24/7. Following medical protocol to make the withdrawal from any substance as safe as possible, as well as to relieve symptoms and prevent complications.
Holistic approach to therapy— The clinical team at Royal Life Centers approaches substance use disorder from all angles so treatment is effective. Intensive therapy addresses all contributing factors and suggests lifestyle changes to either eliminate or navigate them without resorting to old behaviors.
Individualized treatment plans— Our staff at Royal Life Centers makes it a point to get to know every guest on a personal level. Whether it is our nurses who learn guests’ extensive medical history and health issues, our therapists who conduct a thorough assessment upon meeting every guest, or our residential staff who regularly have one-on-one conversations with guests- every member of the RLC team does their best to help guests overcome substance use disorder, while taking into account their particular needs and circumstances.
What Happens After Detox?
Continuing care— We believe an individual has the best opportunity to achieve long-term sobriety by completing our continuing care programs. These include residential inpatient, PHP, IOP, OP, and sober living/grad housing. Even more, becoming sober/clean requires serious life changes and it can be difficult for those in early recovery to maintain these changes without support and accountability. In conclusion, our continuing care programs prepare guests for successful, substance-free lives.
Case management— Guests are paired with a case manager early in their treatment who will help them resolve any outside issues that are put on hold while they are in our care, and set them up with an aftercare plan.
Signs of a drug problem:
- Planning activities around drug use
- Engaging in other high-risk behaviors
- Prioritizing drugs over other things
- Loss of interest in activities not involving drugs
- Lying or stealing to obtain drugs
- Withdrawal symptoms and/or drug cravings
What is drug rehab like at Royal Life Centers?
At Royal Life Centers, we offer several tiers of care to accommodate all guests and their recovery needs. Through treatment, our addiction specialists dedicate themselves to providing the best care and support. Our holistic, evidence-based approach to psychotherapy incorporates individual and group sessions, such as activity, movement, and adventure therapies.
A four or eight-day medical detox from alcohol or drugs. Determined by nurses after an initial assessment.
A fourteen-day live-in program where guests are given a case manager and primary therapist. Participation in group therapy is a requirement.
Royal Life Aftercare Programs
The first stage of our nine-week aftercare program. Participants continue to receive intensive therapy while maintaining appointments with their primary therapist and case manager. Required group therapy consists of six days a week, six hours per day. Guests will live in our sober living facilities and will remain there for the entirety of the nine-week program.
Phase 1: Second stage of our nine-week aftercare program. Guests in IOP Phase 1 will have the same resources available to them as in PHP, however, will attend group therapy only five days per week for 3 hours a day.
Phase 2- Third and final stage of our nine-week program. The required attendance for group therapy is reduced to three days per week, three hours per day.
Once a guest graduates from our nine-week aftercare program and becomes employed, they can then move into our grad housing. Here, guests can enjoy a greater degree of freedom than they experienced in sober living. Additionally, guests can attend an outpatient program but are not required to do so. Outpatient consists of group therapy once a week.
Sober living/grad housing
Royal Life Centers also offers two levels of sober living. Both feature a number of amenities and are staffed 24/7, and guests are drug-tested regularly.
