Dual Accreditation

Royal Life Centers holds full licensure in all states in which we operate, and we are proud to be dually-accredited by the largest accrediting bodies in the United States, the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and the Joint Commission. When it comes to substance use disorder, accreditation for detox or rehabilitation facilities has been through an evaluation of all of its programs. This includes safety policies, management, treatment options, protocols, schedules, guest living arrangements, and therapy practices. This ensures that all standards of compliance are met and have gone through an evaluation to verify excellent guest care by a third party.

The Joint Commission, the largest hospital- and medical facility-accrediting body in the U.S., is recognized across the country. It is widely accepted as one of the two main accreditations for the treatment industry. It’s safeguards are meant to establish a standard of performance. TJC only accepts health care facilities that offer the highest quality and safest treatment options for health care in the nation.

CARF is the largest accrediting organization for addiction facilities in the U.S. CARF certifies treatment centers based on their level of service with its accreditation process, in order to establish an industry guideline. Royal Life Centers is proud to be accredited by CARF by having it’s treatment processes up to their standards.

Only 47% of detox facilities in the U.S. reported that they were accredited by CARF and/or the Joint Commission in the Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration’s 2016 National Survey of Substance Abuse Treatment Services. We work hard to maintain our dual accreditation (accreditation is a continuous process, not a one-time certification awarded to qualifying facilities), so our guests can join the Royal Life Centers family with confidence that they will receive the best evidence-based addiction treatment and aftercare in the safest place.

At Royal Life Centers, our priority is always our guests along with their well-being. We consistently strive to provide the highest level of care and commitment to our guests and their families, and do so by staying on top of the latest developments in the area of treatment for substance use disorder, listening and responding to the needs of guests and staff, and maintaining top-notch facilities and investing in the finest resources.
